Cosmiqube is small, remote-first, and new. Here is what that actually means for anyone considering working with us.
Cosmiqube exists to do two things well. The first is consulting: cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, DevOps, web development, and applied machine learning and computer vision. The second is building our own SaaS products, of which HRMS and Payroll is furthest along.
The consulting work funds the products, and the products keep the consulting honest — it is difficult to give advice about operating software you do not have to operate yourself.
We are deliberately small. That is a constraint as much as a selling point: we take on fewer engagements than a larger firm and we will decline work we are not right for. In exchange, the person who scopes your project is the person who builds it.
How we work
Four commitments that are easy to verify and awkward to fake.
No account management layer
You talk to engineers. Nobody relays your requirements to a delivery team you never meet.
Your infrastructure stays yours
Code in your repositories, resources in your cloud accounts, credentials held by you. Ending an engagement should be a decision, not a migration project.
We will tell you not to build it
If a smaller change solves the problem, that is the recommendation you will get, even when the larger project would be more profitable for us.
Written down, not just delivered
Architecture decisions, runbooks and handover documentation are part of the work, not an optional extra at the end.
Where we are
An honest answer, since it is a question buyers reasonably ask.
Remote-first, distributed team. We do not have an office, and we would rather say so than publish a coworking address to look established.
We have no case studies to show yet — the ones that exist will appear here as early engagements complete and clients agree to be named. Until then, the most useful thing we can offer is a technical conversation about your actual problem.
